Description
Hybrid, twice a week in Lisbon
- QA Strategy: Own the strategy for functional, regression, integration/UAT, and high-level non-functional testing
(performance and resilience) aligned with end-to-end processes.
- Requirement Analysis: Translate business and process models into testable acceptance criteria and scenarios.
- Test Management: Design and maintain test plans, cases, and data; manage execution and evidence with version control
in Xray.
- Validation: Validate workflows, role-based access, reference data updates, and data integrity across modules and
integrations.
- Coordination: Coordinate integration testing with adjacent internal platforms and external suppliers; ensure
requirement-to-defect traceability. - Reporting: Report quality status, risks, and release readiness; recommend go/no-go decisions and corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote QA adoption through training and guidance materials; drive improvements based on
root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Experience: Over 5 years of demonstrable experience in QA/Testing for web applications and complex internal portals,
covering both manual and automated testing.
- Tools: Proficiency with collaborative platforms such as JIRA and Xray.
- Methodology: Ability to interpret/model processes and specify clear, testable acceptance criteria.
- Documentation: Strong discipline in documentation and version control.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders; ability to challenge
requirements constructively.
- Languages: Fluency in both Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Test Automation (UI and/or API) and non-functional testing (performance, resilience).
- Knowledge of SDLC/DevOps, CI/CD, and end-to-end traceability.
- Familiarity with root-cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and quality metrics like defect leakage or
coverage.
- Background working with multiple internal teams and external suppliers in regulated environments.
