Description

The Warehouse Data Migrator is responsible for transferring, validating, and optimizing data from the legacy warehouse
management systems to the new strategic format. This role ensures data integrity, accuracy, and compliance throughout
the migration process, supporting smooth operational transitions and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities
  • Data Extraction & Transformation:
    • Extract data from existing warehouse management systems, cleanser, format, and transform data to meet new system
      requirements.
  • Data Loading & Validation:
    • Import data into target systems using approved tools and scripts.
    • Perform rigorous validation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed migration logs and documentation, and generate reports on migration progress, issues, and
      resolutions.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Identify and resolve data discrepancies promptly and communicate erroneous patterns towards all stakeholders clearly
      and solution driven.
    • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.


Requirements

Years of experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Warehouse Data Migrator.
Functional Skills
  • Proven hands-on experience in data migration projects, preferably in non-SAP to SAP migrations, warehouse or
    logistics environments.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and SQL databases.
  • Experience with SAP EWM, Windchill PLM, and transfer from non-regulated systems into regulated processes.
  • Knowledge of warehouse workflows and inventory management processes.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in data migration tools, DQN and ETL processes.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data validation techniques.
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid project management approaches.
  • Knowledge of data migration best practices, including mock runs and cutover planning.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, not sacrificing accuracy or data structure conformity under
    time pressure.
